February Photo Collage - Day 6 - The Smith Family, 1936

Yesterday on this blog I featured a 1910 photograph of my Great Grandparents, James William Smith (1872-1960) and Agnes Ellen Fullerton (1880-1963). Today, for my sixth photograph from my February Photo Collage, I am featuring a photograph from 1936. This photograph shows James and Agnes with their nine children as well as  two of James' children (Ivo and Audrey) from his first marriage to Nanno Hanley. The other two children, Jim and Syd, are not in this particular photograph.

My Grandma is seated in the front row, second from the left, next to her mother Agnes.

Photographic Studio: Unknown. Probably in Bendigo.
Location of Original: In the possession of my uncle. I have a digitised copy of this photograph.
Date: 1936.

  1. What a wonderful, clear photo. It's always good to get a family photo where everybody can be seen and is identified.

  2. It's a great photo ofthe whole fmily..what a treat.

  3. Aillin - This is such a great photo...I want to meet everyone in it...they all look such characters...Bob has an irrepressible smile...and I really like the look of Kath too...don't you wish you could meet them today?
